Golf transport with room for equipment
Golf groups need transport planned around both passengers and golf bags. A minibus that comfortably seats the group may not have enough storage once every traveller adds clubs and a suitcase. That makes accurate equipment counts essential before the vehicle is selected.
The Algarve is Portugal’s best-known golf region, but groups also play on the Lisbon coast and in other parts of the country. Airport-to-resort transfers are often combined with daily course transport over several days.
Airport and resort transfers
For a golf arrival, supply the flight number, passenger count, number of golf bags and normal luggage. The quotation team can then decide whether a larger minibus, mini coach or full coach is the better choice. On departure day, early flights may require very early resort collections, particularly from western Algarve locations that are farther from Faro Airport.
If the group rents clubs locally, say so—this can materially change the luggage requirement.
Daily course movements
Golf days should be planned backward from the tee time. Groups need time to unload clubs, check in and prepare, so arriving at the first tee at the exact booking time is too late. After the round, allow time for changing, drinks or prize presentations if those are part of the programme.
Courses may have designated coach or minibus drop-off locations. A clear schedule helps the driver know whether to wait, leave and return, or continue to another movement.
Group dinners and leisure travel
Many golf itineraries include evening restaurant transfers, sightseeing or a day without golf. These can be added to the overall programme so the group has one coordinated transport schedule rather than arranging last-minute taxis each evening.
The quote should separate the expected operating hours for each day so the service remains transparent.
